I know that talks are being held with interested countries and I am pretty sure that this will bring about results so that we can avoid any unilateral decisions and solve this type of problem in good neighbourly spirit, Rehn told a news conference in Brussels on Monday evening.
The Croatian minister also confirmed that Croatia was talking with its neighbours about EFPZ.
Being a responsible candidate country, Croatia is informing the European Commission and its members and we are working on the matter and I believe that we shall very soon make some decisions, Grabar Kitarovic said.
Rehn reiterated that he expected Croatia to shun unilateral moves.
In June 2004, the Croatian parliament decided that the EFPZ would not be applied to EU member-states until Zagreb reached agreement with the European Union on partnership in fisheries.
