CAVTAT, Nov 3 (Hina) - Eurobarometer opinion polls show that around 45 percent of EU citizens support EU enlargement and Croatia's admission to the EU is supported by 56 percent of EU citizens, which is the highest percentage among
all candidate-countries and countries with EU prospects, Croatian Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic said in Cavtat on Friday.
CAVTAT, Nov 3 (Hina) - Eurobarometer opinion polls show that
around 45 percent of EU citizens support EU enlargement and Croatia's admission
to the EU is supported by 56 percent of EU citizens, which is the highest
percentage among all candidate-countries and countries with EU prospects,
Croatian Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic said in Cavtat on
Friday. Grabar Kitarovic was speaking at an international
parliamentary conference on EU enlargement and the prospects of Southeast
European countries.
The conference, eighth of this kind, was organised by the Friedrich
Ebert foundation and it was attended by representatives of the Stability Pact
for Southeastern Europe, Southeast European countries and Germany.
The Croatian minister said Croatia was the regional leader in terms of
Euro-Atlantic integration and supported an individual approach to countries
wishing to join Euro-Atlantic associations.
