The meeting, held under the auspices of the Croatian government and in cooperation with the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences, was attended by German member of the European Parliament Doris Pack in her capacity as an honorary member, and members of similar associations from Vukovar, eastern Croatia, and Srebrenica and Zepa, eastern Bosnia.
The Croatian organisation received a letter of support from the Argentine association "Madres de Plaza de Mayo". Next year this association will be marking the 30th anniversary of resistance to the military junta in that country.
"Bedem ljubavi" founder Slavica Bilic said that the Croatian organisation was inspired by "Madres de Plaza de Mayo" in their struggle against an imposed military system.
