Sanader was commenting on estimates presented by Opposition deputies during Question Time in parliament on Wednesday, who said that the growth of GDP in the first six months was below 3.5%.
The PM recalled that Croatia had moved 13 places up on the World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report and ranked 51st among 125 countries.
Croatia is showing that in the globalised world of today it can measure up to other countries, Sanader said.
He said that his government's aim was to continue improving the country's rating.
