On this occasion, the Canadian delegation also met with the Croatian Navy commander, Vice Admiral Zdravko Kardum.
During his stay in Split, Kinsella, held a meeting with the chairwoman of the Croatian-Canadian inter-parliamentary friendship group, Ruza Tomasic, the Croatian parliament stated in a press release.
On Tuesday evening, Kinsella and the Canadian delegation are scheduled to visit the Split-based Mediterranean Institute for Life Studies.
Upon his arrival in Zagreb on Monday, Kinsalla was received by top Croatian officials - President Stjepan Mesic, Sabor Speaker Vladimir Seks and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
At those meetings, Kinsalla said that his country supported Croatia in its democratisation and on the road towards Euro-Atlantic integration.
The Canadian will end his two day official visit to Croatia today.
