"Nobody knows our problems better than we do," Ivanovic told reporters in Pristina, adding that people representing Kosovo Serbs at talks between Belgrade and Pristina did not have information from the field on the status of Serbs in Kosovo.
Ivanovic said he expected Serbs to be treated as a nation and not a minority at the Pristina-Belgrade talks. He underlined that constitutional mechanisms to protect local Serbs should be discussed as soon as possible.
One of the Kosovo Albanian negotiators at the Vienna talks, Enver Hoxhaj, said upon return to Pristina that the meeting in Vienna was good and that the delegation from Pristina had explained its position on the protection of the Serb minority and decentralisation and reform of the local administration, health and school systems, police and the judiciary.
