In a letter published on his web site Glavas says the fact that the Zagreb County Court is investigating him does not give Faber the right to phone him during his holidays and harass his family.
Glavas seeks protection claiming that Faber is producing false reports about his alleged influence on witnesses in the case. He adds that the relevant judicial institution has turned down Faber's reports on four occasions, thus thwarting his attempts to have him imprisoned.
The politician also accuses the county police chief of providing some reporters with confidential information from the pre-investigative proceedings and of having visited Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks in his apartment late last year to inform him "of the course of the operation to indict Branimir Glavas".
Glavas also claims that Faber has been unlawfully bringing in citizens for questioning and talking them into giving false testimonies.
