On the first day of the conference, which focused on an advanced programme of association of Balkan countries with the EU, Racan met his host, Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev, the leader of the Party of European Socialists, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, and Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn.
The conference pooled Social Democrat prime ministers, ministers and party leaders from the region and the European Union, and representatives of the Party of European Socialists.
On Monday Racan spoke at a panel discussion on the integration of the Western Balkans with the European Union. He informed participants in the discussion about Croatia's experience in negotiations with the EU and met with Serbian President Boris Tadic, Macedonian Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski and other officials, said Milanovic, who also attended the conference.
