BELGRADE, May 13 (Hina) - Former Serbian Deputy Prime Minister
Miroljub Labus on Saturday resigned to his post as president of G17 Plus after
the party's main committee rejected his proposal that the party leave the
ruling coalition. His proposal was rejected by 207 members of the
main committee and supported by only 44. Resigning to his post, Labus said the
decision to remain in the ruling coalition was wrong.
Labus recently resigned to the post of Serbian deputy PM after the
European Union suspended negotiations on a Stabilisation and Association
Agreement with Belgrade due to non-cooperation with the Hague war crimes
tribunal.
