"We begin to suspect that some sort of para-state organised crime is active, that everyone is profiting from the misfortune of refugees. We demand that the government solve this," SDSS vice president Milorad Pupovac told a news conference.
He said that disorder and manipulations rule the housing sector, stressing that despite the fact that there was more than enough flats in formerly war stricken areas, the authorities had not yet provided about 3,000 returnees with housing accommodation.
"This is the consequence of a bad housing policy and hidden intentions - to launder money the state had allocated for the housing issue and to shun efforts aimed at solving the problems of returnees," Pupovac said.
