According to a statement issued by the Croatian Parliament Public Relations Office, Picula said that relations between the OSCE and Croatia had entered a final phase and that it was time to define an exit strategy.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the OSCE Mission to Croatia, Ambassador Jorge Fuentes Monzonis-Vilallonga, and the Vice-Chairman of the Croatian Parliament's Human and Minority Rights Committee, Ratko Gajica, who informed the ambassadors about the composition and activities of the committee.
The talks focused on the return of refugees to their pre-war homes.
In conclusion, the ambassadors agreed that the future role of the OSCE in Croatia would be of an advisory rather than observer nature and that the mission would not stay for long, the statement said.
