Primorac informed Harris about the ministry's efforts to promote science, projects aimed at bringing together scientists in Croatia and abroad, new criteria for the registering of scientific projects and the participation of foreign scientists in the review of scientific projects in Croatia.
Harris, who is a member of the international council of the Irish Foundation for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development, spoke about the Foundation's programmes and investments, notably in biotechnology and in information and communication technology. He said that Irish experts were ready to convey to their Croatian colleagues their experience in the restructuring of Ireland's science policy which is considered the most successful in Europe.
