PRISTINA, March 30 (Hina) - Several thousand ethnic Albanians staged aprotest rally in the Presevo valley in the south of Serbia on Thursdayinsisting that former members of the liberation army for Presevo,Medjveda and Bujanovac should be released from prisons, the KosovoTelevision reported.
PRISTINA, March 30 (Hina) - Several thousand ethnic Albanians staged a protest rally in the Presevo valley in the south of Serbia on Thursday insisting that former members of the liberation army for Presevo, Medjveda and Bujanovac should be released from prisons, the Kosovo Television reported.

Ethnic Albanians make up the majority of population in the valley.

Serbia's Supreme Court imposed prison sentences on ethnic Albanian guerillas, although the district court in the town of Vranje acquitted them.
