One contract applied to the sale of Promal's real estate, equipment and other assets, while the other concerned a three-year exclusive right to the transport of goods for TLM. Both were signed last August, but road hauliers in the Dalmatia region protested against them, saying the privatisation had not been transparent.
TLM board chairman Ivo Kostan told Sibenik County Radio that the Croatian Privatisation Fund, as the majority owner of TLM, had suggested that TLM return to Viator Vektor the 1.6 million kuna paid to purchase Promal as well as bank guarantees issued for investments and salaries.
