Croatian ambassador presents credentials to Mexican president

WASHINGTON/MEXICO CITY, March 22 (Hina) - Croatia's Ambassador to theUnited States, Neven Jurica, who is also accredited to Mexico,presented his credentials to Mexican President Vincente Fox Quesada onWednesday, the Croatian Embassy in Washington said in a pressrelease.
WASHINGTON/MEXICO CITY, March 22 (Hina) - Croatia's Ambassador to the United States, Neven Jurica, who is also accredited to Mexico, presented his credentials to Mexican President Vincente Fox Quesada on Wednesday, the Croatian Embassy in Washington said in a press release.

During the meeting in the presidential residence Los Pinos in Mexico City, Jurica conveyed greetings from Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, and highlighted friendly relations between the two countries.

Jurica informed his host of Croatia's ambitions to join the European Union and NATO, and stressed the need for enhancing trade and cooperation in tourism between Croatia and Mexico.

The Mexican president said he was pleased with friendly relations between the two countries, and expressed readiness to further promote bilateral cooperation.
