"Justice has not been served. The Balkan butcher Slobodan Milosevic escaped justice from a court. However, the justice which the Croatian people, the Muslim people, the Bosniaks, and a part of of his own Serb people deserved as a reward for their suffering has been served," Seks said.
Representatives of Croatian associations of former prisoners of Serb-run camps and of families whose loved ones were killed in the 1991-1995 war said that they would be happier had Milosevic lived to see the end of his trial and got a sentence for his crimes.
