The county office issued a press release on its web site on Saturday evening giving only the initials of the suspects.
The five are accused of having embezzled over HRK 2 million from the Croatian Privatisation Fund.

(Hina) - The Split county office of the Chief State
Prosecutor has issued an indictment against five people on suspicion
of abuse of office and malfeasance during the privatisation of the
Konstruktor company, headquartered in Split, from April 1992 to the
end of 1996, and among those suspects are Konstruktor Director Zeljko
Zderic and the current head of the Croatian customs administration,
Ivica Mladineo.
