The mayor of Skradin, Nedijko Dujic, who initiated the idea about the construction of a 18-hole golf course and facilities for high-income visitors near Prokljan Lake by the Krka river, said today that the de-mining would cost HRK 4.6 million and that the funds for this purpose had been earmarked from the state budget.
The Croatian Mine Action Centre has engaged explosives-disposal specialists to comb a 382,000-square-metre large mine suspected area.
Mayor Dujic added that this project would create jobs for 500 people.
