Rogozar has been a member of the HZ Holding managing board and the CEO of the HZ Cargo. He will continue performing these duties, too.
Minister Kalmeta said that during the restructuring and streamlining of the railway operator in times of reduced funds from the state, the HZ needed a more energetic leader who could ensure new business deals abroad, notably in neighbouring countries.
The minister recalled that Rogozar was one of the initiators of the Cargo 10 regional company, which should facilitate speedier transport of cargo and passengers through Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and other countries in the region.
Popovac will stay in the HZ, too.
