EURES (European Employment Services) is a network of public employment agencies aimed at facilitating the free movement of workers inside the 27 European Union member-states plus Norway, Lichtenstein, Iceland and Switzerland.
The network helps job-seekers planning to move to another country to work or pursue their education. EURES provide employers, in particular small and medium-sized businesses, with a personalised service to access the potential workers available in the European Economic Area (EEA).
The partner of the Croatian HZZ service is the German Employment Service.
The project will last six months.
HZZ director Ankica Paun Jarallahtold told reporters she expected that the project would improve mobility on the Croatian labour market.
