The film entitled "Vukovar - The Last Cut" was produced by Belgrade's B92 radio and TV.
The documentary is about the preparations for the war in Vukovar, the siege of the town by the then Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and Serb paramilitaries, and its fall in November 1991.
"The film contains the most extreme testimonies and this was the criterion. The B92 producer is engaged in disclosing crimes and removing any taboo, and in this is how the film about Vukovar was made, which is neither a Serb nor a Croatian (movie)," Baljak told a news conference in Belgrade.
A representative of B92 added that a TV serial could be expected to be made from this material and went on to say that the documentary was also well accepted in Croatia after its first screening was in Zagreb last Friday.
