The Croatian Foreign Ministry has still not responded to Italy's move because it reportedly does not have the document, but we will forward it to the ministry, Tadic said.
He recalled that his party had requested the Croatian parliament last September to reactivate the ecological zone and launch talks on the part of the protected zone where fishing would be allowed.
Commenting on Italy's draft law envisaging dual citizenship for some Croatian nationals, Tadic said it was not quite clear to whom the law would apply.
The government's position is that relations with Italy must not be disrupted because Italy is expected to support Croatia in its negotiations with the EU, but Croatia should not ignore issues that could be harmful to its integrity, Tadic said.
