"The chapter on security is very sensitive and one of the most important negotiating chapters," the Assistant Minister for European Integration and Peacekeeping Missions, Filip Dragovic, told reporters during a break in the meeting.
Dragovic announced that Croatia would present issues relating asylum, migrations, prevention of organised crime and DNA analysis in Brussels next week.
"We are here to exchange experiences and not to give advice," said Sabine Baumgartner of Austria, the country that initiated today's meeting as part of efforts to enhance cooperation with the countries of Southeast Europe. She added that cooperation with Croatian institutions was very strong.
