The signing of the protocol is the confirmation of our successful cooperation, the Macedonian official said after the ceremony in Zagreb.
Skare-Ozbolt said that she and her Macedonian colleague had exchanged the experience in the reform of the national judiciaries and in efforts the two countries were making to integrate with the European Union.
"The reform of the judiciary is one of strategically important goals both for Croatia and Macedonia not only because of their bids to join the EU but also for their own benefit," the Croatian official said.
We shall continue cooperating in the future and we shall also develop regional cooperation as it is in the interest of both countries, Mladenovska Gorgievska added.
The two ministers also discussed a judges network project, the cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and topics from the realm of penal code.
