The Croatian foreign minister assistant for minorities, emigrants and immigrants, Slavko Leban, in his opening speech commended the organisation of the event saying it showed that Croats in Vienna preserved and nurtured their cultural identity, while showing an open European spirit at the same time.
The exhibition featured performers from Croatia, Austria, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, and Turkey.
The first prize went to the Ivan Kapistranovic Adamovic cultural society from Cepin, Croatia.
In attendance were more than 500 Croats living and working in Vienna and their Austrian friends. The event was held under the auspices of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the Croatian Embassy in Austria, among others.
