The French-based international organisation bestowed its traditional annual award on the Croatian association for its dedicated efforts to create a society based on differences.
According to the citation, over the past 11 years 'Dodir' has contributed to the adoption of laws that facilitated the status of disabled persons in Croatia and made education available to deaf and blind persons.
The award has also brought 4,000 euros to the association.
