ZAGREB, Jan 23 (Hina) - The second Crans Montana Forum called
"Croatia -- Europe's Gate to the Southeast" will be held in Zagreb on April
5-7, a state secretary in the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration
Ministry, Marija Pejcinovic Buric, said at a news conference on Monday. Addressing the press, Pejcinovic Buric, who is also chairing the
Organisation Committee of the 2nd Crans Montana Forum, said that 2008 was a
year of very important events for Croatia, including the opening of the EU
membership talks and a number of economic achievements.
The founder of the Crans Montana Forum, Jean Paul Carteron, who was
also present at today's news conference, said the main motive of the forum was
to promote Croatia and its leaders in the world as well as Croatia's regional
role in the European integration process.
