ZAGREB, Jan 20 (Hina) - Slightly over 300 million kuna will be
earmarked for humanitarian mine clearance in Croatia this year, which is at the
same level as in 2005, the head of the Croatian Mine Action Centre (HCR), Oto
Jungwirth, said in Sisak on Friday. About KN150 million will be
ensured from the state budget.
The HCR is planning to receive KN54 million as donations from the
country and abroad, which will be by some 10 million kuna less than last
year.
The rest should be covered by funds ensured by the state-run public
companies such as the Croatian Power Company (HEP) and the Croatian Forestries
Company for the removal of mines from their premises.
