The seminar, to be held in Zagreb, is aimed at providing SAPARD consultants with a better insight into the EU's institutional and financial system and enabling them to identify and classify project possibilities which are opening up to the agricultural sector through application for SAPARD funds.
Future consultants on SAPARD will learn how to identify and use sources of technical information necessary for the drawing up of project proposals, write and structure project proposals for SAPARD, apply for funds, and negotiate and sign contracts.
Lecturers at the seminar are Slovene experts on all aspects of the use of SAPARD.
The EU has provided Croatia with 25 million euros of non-repayable funds for agriculture and rural development through SAPARD.
