ROME, Jan 13 (Hina) - The humanitarian organisation Casa Croata
(the Croatia House) opened a Holocaust exhibition in the northeastern Italian
city of Padua on Friday with the assistance of Croatian Honorary Consul Nela
Srsen and the Jewish community. The exhibition will be open until 12
February and all the contributions from this initiative will go to the
Padua-based humanitarian organisation, which provides medical treatment for
Croats, mainly children, awaiting organ transplantation.
The opening ceremony was attended, among others, by Giorgio Napolitano,
a member of the European Parliament, Flavio Zanonato, the mayor of Padua, and
Davide Romanin Jacur, head of the Jewish community in Padua.
