ZAGREB, July 14 (Hina) - The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) had decided to open an office in Tokyo, given the assessments of the World Tourism Organisation (UNVWTO), according to which the Japanese market and the markets of the
Far East have best possibilities for tourism businesses, and given that each year more and more Japanese tourist are vacationing in Croatia.
ZAGREB, July 14 (Hina) - The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ)
had decided to open an office in Tokyo, given the assessments of the World
Tourism Organisation (UNVWTO), according to which the Japanese market and the
markets of the Far East have best possibilities for tourism businesses, and
given that each year more and more Japanese tourist are vacationing in
Croatia. Japanese tourists are known as good spenders, notably when
it comes to cultural and ecological tourism.
The HTZ had translated into Japanese the latest edition of its brochure
"Croatia - The Homeland of Marco Polo".
Apart from the Japanese market, the Tokyo office would also cover other
markets in the far east, such as China and India.
