All four transmitters, a new generation entirely developed at RIZ, are worth over 3.5 million pounds sterling and the last one is expected to be delivered by the end of October.
In mid-July, RIZ is expected to sign a contract on the delivery of another four digital shortwave transmitters to VTC to use by the BBC. The contract will also be worth more than 3.5 million pounds sterling.
This year RIZ has signed three more contracts for the delivery of transmitters to Burma, Ethiopia and Bangladesh worth EUR 2.2 million in total.
