In his speech before the OSCE Permanent Council, Sanader is expected to talk about steps Croatia had taken that led to a proposal that the OSCE Permanent Mission to Croatia end this autumn.
The OSCE Mission to Croatia was established in April 1996 at a time when the country was confronted with a complicated legacy of problems from its socialist past: the material consequences of the war, the reintegration of the former Serb-controlled areas, and the tasks of reconciliation.
