Vukelic stressed that small and medium-sized enterprises were essential for a country's economic development, noting that such companies in Croatia were receiving the status they deserved. He also cited the importance of competitiveness and exports.
The two-day meeting focused on new possibilities of funding small and medium-sized enterprises, EU projects aimed at increasing economic competitiveness, marketing, and new technologies and innovations as prerequisites for being competitive in the marketplace.
