This is the first production hall opened in Virovitica's Entrepreneurial Zone 2, in which the town invested 7.5 million kuna.
Javorovic employs 32 people and manufactures furniture for hotels in Croatia and abroad as we as kitchen furniture.
"Three years ago we said Croatia would no longer export only logs and import final wood-processing products. Our actions have yielded results and this year we have exported US$1 billion worth of furniture," said Sanader.
He voiced hope that wood-processing companies would use the government's incentives for this industry in the amount of 42 million kuna.
