ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - As part of her official visit to the People's Republic of China, Croatian Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic on Wednesday visited Hong Kong and held talks with the Chief Secretary of the Hong Kong
Special Administrative Region of the PRC, Rafel Hui, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - As part of her official visit to the
People's Republic of China, Croatian Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic
on Wednesday visited Hong Kong and held talks with the Chief Secretary of the
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC, Rafel Hui, the Croatian
Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The two officials underlined
good cooperation in the economy and culture, adding that there was room and
mutual wish for intensifying overall bilateral relations.
The Croatian minister expressed satisfaction with the establishment and
the work of Croatia's honorary consulate in Hong Kong. She underlined personal
merits of Croatia's honorary consul in Hong Kong Gordon Wu, the statement
said.
Grabar-Kitarovic presented Wu with a high Croatian state decoration,
which President Stjepan Mesic awarded to Wu for his contribution to the
development of trade, cultural and other ties and cooperation in tourism
between Croatia and Hong Kong, the statement said.
