"Strengthening the Capacity to Manage and Enforce the EU Competition and State
Aid Policies" was presented in the Croatian Chamber of the Economy in Zagreb on
Tuesday to Croatian economic agents engaged in the market competition
protection. The project, worth 1.5 million euros, will be carried
out this and next year.
The twinning partner in this project is the German Economy and
Technology Ministry.
The main objective of this twinning, financed by the European Union, is
to strengthen the market economy by strengthening the capacity to manage and
enforce the respective European rules. It particularly targets the Croatian
Competition Agency, government officials and the judiciary in order to enforce
the competition and state aid rules.
