The Committee recommended on Tuesday that the decision regarding measures in support of the effective implementation of the mandate of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia should be modified considering the fact that General Gotovina is in the custody of the Hague tribunal.
An annex to the decision lists the names of persons who are barred entry into the EU for obstructing the work of the Hague tribunal. Zeljko Bagic, Zeljko Dilber, Ante Zoni Maksan, Hrvoje Petrac and Ljubo Cesic Rojs have been on the list since June 29, 2004.
The recommendation is to be accepted by the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER) and the Council of the EU, which is expected in a few weeks' time, Hina was told in Brussels.
