"Croatia will be a new European Union star. The only question is whether it will happen in one, two or three years," the Dean of the School of Economics, Darko Tipuric, said in his opening remarks. "No one sees the future of Croatia outside the European Union anymore," he added.
Also attending were the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrea Gustovic Ercegovac, and David Hudson, a representative of the European Commission Delegation to Croatia.
The event, organised by the Croatian Students Association and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, is primarily intended for students. It offers a series of lectures and workshops in the areas of tourism, finance, marketing and trade relating to the process of Croatia's accession to the European Union.
