Last year, Hungarian policemen were the first foreign police officers to be engaged for this purpose on the Croatian coast.
According to the Croatian police leadership, this summer there will be four police officers from each of Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
They will stay in places where tourists from their countries arrive in larger numbers.
Foreign policemen will wear their uniforms, but they will carry no firearms and will perform patrols together with their Croatian colleagues.
