Before the presentation, the Italians held talks with Croatian officials during which Craxi expressed hope Croatia would soon join the the European Union.
Mayor Moratti held talks with Croatian Economy Minister Petar Cobankovic and stressed that Italy would provide Croatia with important support in preserving biodiversity, development of tourism, enogastronomy and environmental protection
Italy is Croatia's number one foreign trade partner, second country according to the number of tourist arrivals and fifth according to investments.
With the population of 10 million, Milan is a strong center in the region with a 10 percent share in Italy's GDP.
The presentation, organised by the Italian Foreign Trade Institute, was also attended by Italian Ambassador to Croatia Alessandro Grafini.
A decision on the EXPO 2015 host will be made next year.
