Two teams from Zagreb, which won the second and third place, will travel to Bad Urach for a session of the European Youth Parliament and to Styria for a youth meeting.
The competition finals were staged as part of events marking the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, which established the EU.
The events included an ultra-marathon from Zagreb to Cazma, run, among others, by the head of the EC Delegation to Croatia, Vincent Degert, and Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic. The celebration of the 50th anniversary of the EU ends this evening with a concert in the Vatroslav Lisinski concert hall, to be attended by senior state officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
