President Mesic received credentials from Ukrainian Ambassador Markian Lubkivski, with both officials underlining that Croatia and Ukraine had very good relations which needed to be intensified in the field of economy.
The president also met the outgoing Polish Ambassador, Kazimierz Kopyra. Thanking the ambassador for his contribution to the promotion of bilateral relations, President Mesic presented him with a high state decoration, "The Order of Prince Branimir".
Kopyra recalled the hospitality he received in Croatia and underlined that political and economic relations were constantly improving.
