LJUBLJANA, March 16 (Hina) - A two-day session of a committee
comprising representatives of countries successors to the former Yugoslavia
dealing with the division of diplomatic and consular property of the former
Yugoslavia abroad ended in Ljubljana on Friday, with the confirmation of the
time schedule for the handover of facilities, the Slovene Foreign Ministry said
in a statement At the meeting, held behind closed doors, it was
agreed that the handover of residencies of former Yugoslav diplomats would be
completed at the end of June at the latest, while former Yugoslav embassies and
consular offices would be given to the new owners by the year's end.
A total of 49 buildings have been divided so far. The new meeting is
scheduled to be held in Belgrade on May 15-16, while the last was held in
Skopje two months ago.
