ZAGREB, Feb 16 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Parliament Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Kresimir Cosic, on Friday received the French Defence Minister's personal envoy Thierry Borja de Mozota for talks on
cooperation between the two countries, the parliamentary press office said in a statement.
ZAGREB, Feb 16 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Parliament
Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Kresimir Cosic, on Friday
received the French Defence Minister's personal envoy Thierry Borja de Mozota
for talks on cooperation between the two countries, the parliamentary press
office said in a statement. The French delegation, following the
instructions from Defence Minister Michele Alliot-Marie, expects long-term
cooperation between Croatia and France on security and defence issues and seeks
to establish cooperation among all ministers of the two countries.
De Mozota expressed support for Croatia's European Union membership
bid, stressing that defence and security issues were of exceptional importance
to the EU.
The talks also focused on future economic cooperation between France
and Croatia, the statement said.
