ZAGREB, Feb 16 (Hina) - Four tonnes of cocaine seized on the OCT
Challenger ship in Spain was not intended for the Croatian drug market as the
Spanish police reported yesterday, the Croatian Ministry of the Interior said
on Friday. "A criminal investigation has shown that the final
destination of the cocaine shipment was not Croatia and there are no
indications for now of involvement of any Croatian citizens or shippers in the
drug smuggling," ministry spokeswoman Emina Lisic told Hina.
A source close to the Croatian police told Hina on condition of
anonymity that the cocaine shipment was to have been unloaded in a Greek
port.
