ZAGREB, Feb 1 (Hina) - Croatia is ready to open negotiations with the European Union on Chapter 6, "Company Law", and is not seeking any permanent exemptions or transitional periods for the implementation of the acquis communautaire
regarding this chapter, the Croatian government said in its negotiating position which it submitted to the German EU Presidency and the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU on Thursday.
ZAGREB, Feb 1 (Hina) - Croatia is ready to open negotiations with
the European Union on Chapter 6, "Company Law", and is not seeking any
permanent exemptions or transitional periods for the implementation of the
acquis communautaire regarding this chapter, the Croatian government said in
its negotiating position which it submitted to the German EU Presidency and the
General Secretariat of the Council of the EU on Thursday. Croatia's
negotiating position will be circulated as a document of the Intergovernmental
Conference on Croatia's Accession to the European Union, the government said
in a statement.
The negotiating position was submitted after the German EU Presidency
notified the Croatian government in writing that the view of all EU member
states was that Croatia was adequately prepared for the start of negotiations
on this chapter.
The Croatian government has so far adopted and submitted nine
negotiating positions to the EU Presidency.
