ZAGREB, Jan 23 (Hina) - The Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) and the
Social Liberal Party (HSLS) have agreed in principle to run together in the
next parliamentary elections and to define their joint activities in
constituencies in the next 60 days, HSS leader Josip Friscic told reporters on
Tuesday. He added that representatives of the two parties were
harmonising party platforms that would be made public after January 31.
Asked about her talks with Party of Rights (HSP) leader Anto Djapic,
Adlesic said that they had discussed possible cooperation in Slavonski Brod,
but not joint activities in the upcoming elections.
"The HSS is our partner, but that does not mean that we cannot talk
with others too," she added.
Speaking of possible cooperation with other parties, Friscic said his
party did not want to address that issue until it harmonised its platform with
that of the HSLS.
