ZAGREB, Jan 17 (Hina) - Croatia-Cuba relations are very good and there are no outstanding issues in bilateral relations, the Croatian parliament said in a statement on Wednesday after the head of the parliamentary foreign affairs
committee, Gordan Jandrokovic, received Cuban Ambassador to Croatia Norma M. Goicochen Estenoz.
ZAGREB, Jan 17 (Hina) - Croatia-Cuba relations are very good and
there are no outstanding issues in bilateral relations, the Croatian parliament
said in a statement on Wednesday after the head of the parliamentary foreign
affairs committee, Gordan Jandrokovic, received Cuban Ambassador to Croatia
Norma M. Goicochen Estenoz. The ambassador, whose residence is in
Vienna, said that the Cuban parliament was very interested in deepening the
cooperation between the two countries, notably by forming friendship groups in
the two parliament, the statement said.
Jandrokovic said a Croatian-Cuban friendship group could be formed in
the Croatian parliament as early as this year, the statement said. According to
Jandrokovic, this form of cooperation in parliamentary relations had proved
itself successful.
Ambassador Goicochen Estenoz relayed te invitation to members of the
Croatian parliament's foreign affairs committee to visit Cuba.
