The event, organised by the centres for history, democracy and reconciliation from Novi Sad and Obrovac, brought together scholars, politicians and representatives of Croatian Serbs and Serbian Croats.
Establishing connections between those representatives two years ago is the greatest value of this conference, said Petar Kuntic, head of the Democratic Alliance of the Vojvodina Croats and a deputy in the Serbian parliament.
The Serb National Council head and a member of the Croatian parliament, Milorad Pupovac, called for ceasing treating respective minorities as a burden and for searching for what the Croats and the Serbs have in common.
